Instructor
Arvin Vohra is the founder and Head Instructor of The Numeracy. He is an internationally published math author and educator with over 20 years of experience. He started experimenting with education early, taking his first college course at age 13, and getting scores of 5 on ten AP exams in high school. For 6 of them, he used independent study rather than an AP course at school. He was also a National Merit Scholar Finalist, with the highest SAT and PSAT scores in his graduating class.
In 2001, after graduating from Brown University with a B.Sc. in Mathematics, he started a tutoring business. Since then, he has tutored hundreds of students, created innovative group classes, developed advanced curricula, written several books about education, and shared insights on national media. He also earned perfect scores on various standardized tests, including the GRE and GMAT.
Arvin Vohra works on all parts of education, from math to Ivy admissions strategy. The synergies this creates help each program benefit from the others. Below, he discusses Ivy admissions strategy on Good Day Chicago.
